Teachings on Chöd Meditation and the Practice of Dakini Laughter with Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche
We are pleased to announce that in this year’s 3-Day Spring Meditation Retreat, Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche will be teaching on the profound practice of Chöd for the first time.
Rinpoche will provide teachings on the meaning and practice of Chöd and will guide us in Chöd meditation based on Dakini Laughter, a powerful Chöd practice by Jigme Lingpa that Rinpoche has translated into English.
Rinpoche will guide us in the practice to introduce how we can obliterate all negative emotions, fear, judgments, and thoughts and achieve a fearless Vajra Mind through the practice of Chöd.
Through Rinpoche’s step-by-step guidance in the meditation and visualization practices of Chöd, we will learn how to cut all delusions, all negative and confusing experiences, all fixation on our body and mind, and thereby the source of all bondage and suffering.
Together we will receive teachings on Jigme Lingpa’s Dakini Laughter, practice Chöd as a group, and learn how this tradition transforms ordinary experience into clarity, confidence, and liberation.
